I was a Project Manager and Content Writer for one of units this year called Developing Infocomms. This project is about informing students about sports in Manchester. I have a great understanding of Agile Management and Project Life cycle as I have applied these methodologies to this project. Not only that throughout the project I have supported my team members through each stages within the project, which are User Requirements, Content Writing, Visual Production, Website Development and User Testing. Also I have dealt with management reports like, Agenda and Minutes, Bi-weekly management reports, Gantt Charts and help and supported towards other documentation required in other stages of the project.  The website for this project is launched and can be access at: A Study Of Sports In Manchester

Another unit which is called Website Development, as a group we build a website for our clients who are the department of my course. We have to think creative and be creative. Each week we have sprint meetings with our clients to discuss the progress of the project. Also in this project we have submission points we have to meet and present the progress of the product to our clients.  The website for this project is live and can be access at: Information and Communications Department

In addition, in my unit for Web Languages I did a project using PHPMyAdmin, PHP, JavaScript and MySQL. I was required to  build an music webpage, but running locally. Using phpmyadmin for the back-end of the database and PHP to retrieve the data from the database to show on the webpage. Also I am applying JavaScript to apply affects to the webpage.  You can see the coding on my GitHub space: https://github.com/Umzzzz/weblangs-project-year2

On the other hand in Creative Digital Media Production, in the first term I was working with a team to develop a short 15 minutes documentary on Veganism. My role was sound operator within the video production.  The website for this project can be access at: CDMP Documentary

In the second term of this unit I was required to do a individual piece on Art Movements. I was required to produce weekly art movement pieces which included Impressionism, Surrealism, Pop Art, Cubism and Futurism. The second of half project I was required to write an essay on my chosen art movement which is Pop Art and produce two posters on Pop Art. This project can be access at: CDMP Art Movement

Overall it’s been a busy second year of my studies,  but I have learned alot of new things. Also I have enhanced in my skills to become closer to my chosen career when I graduate next academic year in June 2016.I’m looking forward to my final year of studies when I go back in September!
